| The Nichia 0.5 Watt LED is up to 7 x brighter than a standard LED and using a collimator lens at the front, a more focused beam is given whether you use the steady continuous light or the flashing mode. The rear light is activated by a separate switch and can also be operated as a steady continuous light or as a flashing light. One set of AAA size batteries powers both the front and the rear light. The maximum battery life with the included Duracell batteries is 11 hours (with a maximum continuous output of 5 hours) and for the flashing mode is a staggering 22 hours! The headstrap is adjustable on the left and right side and on the overhead strap giving it a secure fit. Designed so the front light tilts through 90° you can direct it to where the light is needed, it is also light weight and water resistant. The front light is 63mm wide x 48mm deep. The back light is 70mm wide. | |
