The Cyba-Lite solar poweredLED torch is one of the best environmentally friendly torches we've seen. The solar panel charges a built-in rechargeable battery or, for extended use, AAA batteries can be also be used. The dual light source offers a focused spot beam or a flooding short beam.

| The included NiMH battery (3.6v, 350mAh) is fully charged by 24 hours of daylight and provides light via 5mm Nichia white LED bulbs. Offering a single LED focused spot beam or a double LED flooding short beam means you . Once the rechargeable battery is fully charged, you can expect up to 9 hours of light via a single LED and up to 5 hours of light via the two LED bulbs. To extend the battery life, this solar powered LED torch can also use three AAA size alkaline batteries providing up to 100 hours of light via a single LED and up to 55 hours of light via the two LED bulbs. The included NiMH battery has been designed with a very low self discharge rate and so even if unused, this torch will still work up to 18 months after a full charge! When using AAA size batteries to extend the battery life, the torch will draw power from both battery sources at the same time. | |
